How TruePrice Builds a Planning Range

See the configured inputs, adjustment factors, update practices, and limits behind TruePrice HVAC repair-cost planning ranges.

Deterministic numeric model

The estimator maps equipment and symptom selections to configured repair scenarios, then applies documented parts, labor, service-fee, ZIP, system-type, access, and age assumptions. Generative text does not set the numeric range.

What can move the final price

On-site diagnosis, compatible parts, refrigerant type, warranty coverage, equipment condition, access, timing, permits, contractor fees, and added scope can move a quote outside the modeled range.

Limitations

The tool cannot inspect equipment, identify a fault, check availability, verify a contractor, or guarantee a price or result. Figures are internal model outputs, not sampled local averages.
